'Ash vs Evil Dead' season 2 episode 6 spoilers: Elk Grove learns truth about Ash; Pablo turns into the Necronomicon?
The people of Elk Grove are in for the biggest revelation of their lives. Will Ash (Bruce Campbell) and his crew be able to save them from the truth?
After barely surviving Baal's (Joel Tobeck) surprise siege on the town precinct, the misunderstood heroes of Starz horror comedy series "Ash vs Evil Dead" will once again find themselves forcefully confined inside Ash's family home when an angry mob comes to prosecute Ashy Slashy once and for all. But they will be in for a surprise when Ash finally proves that he is not the psychotic murderer they all think he is.
In "Ash vs Evil Dead" season 2 episode 6 titled "Trapped Inside." a familiar deadite will come after Ash and serve as proof to the people of Elk Grove that demons exist and that they can disguise themselves as people. The episode synopsis also teased that the people who drove Ash out of town on accusations of butchering his friends to pieces, will now finally see the hero that he has always been.
But who is this familiar deadite that is said to be coming for Ash? Is he or she an acquaintance from the past returning to haunt his present?
The episode preview also showed Pablo (Ray Santiago) seemingly turning into the Necronomicon as Ruby (Lucy Lawless) states at the beginning of the clip, "Once the book manifests completely, there'll be no Pablo."
In another clip shown at the end of the official "Ash vs Evil Dead" after show hosted by Collider, Ruby claimed to have accelerated the process of Pablo's alleged transformation into the Necronomicon in hopes of finding the specific spell they need to bring Baal back to hell. This process will surely bring Pablo more agonizing pain as the writings on the book slowly manifest in bloody runes on his skin.
Will Pablo be able to survive next Sunday's episode? Or will he eventually have to sacrifice his life in order to bring Baal down? Is it really the Necronomicon that's causing Pablo's strife?
Ash also hinted on the possible return of the Delta, his beloved car, in the previous episode. Has he really rid the vehicle of any traces of demonic possession? Is he aware that his car's trunk has recently become a portal to hell and has that portal closed after Baal came through? Will the car still be an ally or will it turn into an unexpected foe when it finally returns to Ash?
The next episode of "Ash vs Evil Dead" airs on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 8 p.m. EDT on Starz.
