'Attack on Titan' Manga Chapter 87 spoilers, rumors: Eren goes back to prison; Smiling Titan's origin to be revealed

Chapter 87 of the hit manga series "Attack on Titan" is not yet expected to roll out in the next few days, but the spoilers for what is going to happen next are now circulating online. The action and the suspense are just starting to heat up as Eren and the rest of the group are learning more about the world filled with flesh-eating titans.

The next chapter of Hajime Isayama's post-apocalyptic series is titled "Borderline." As reported by Yibada, the episode is probably related to the existing rule among the Marleyans that they are not allowed to go past the borderline and explore the Paridis Island deeper.

To note, the southern part of Paridis Island has a port and a huge wall where the Marleyans punish and kill the Erudian traitors. On the other hand, the next episode is rumored to reveal the real identity of the infamous Smiling Titan. The online publication states that Dina Fritz, the former wife of Grisha Yaeger, is actually the Smiling Titan herself. This titan is the same creature that brutally devoured Dr. Yaeger's new wife, Carla Yaeger.

Chapter 87 is also expected to show Eren going to prison once again, Hall of Fame Magazine reported. It is not yet known how will Eren find himself locked inside a prison cell for the second time. To recall, Eren used the opportunity of having the Coordinate and seek revenge against those who killed his mother. He used the Coordinate's power to command other titans into killing the Smiling Titan during the Survey Corps soldiers' new encounter with the Colossal and Armored Titans.

Grisha Yaeger may also see himself in trouble in Chapter 87 as the Erudian soldiers plan to execute him and other traitors wanting to overthrow the current government. The Erudian soldiers are expected to punish them by injecting a paralyzing venom to their body and throw them outside the Wall. From there, the hungry titans are likely to feast on them, ultimately causing the death of the traitors. Still, it is possible that Grisha will be able to survive.

"Attack on Titan" Chapter 87 will be available on Bessatsu Monthly Shonen starting on Nov. 9.
