'Attack on Titan' season 2 spoilers: Wit Studio teases finished animation cuts for season 2
The wait for the second season of "Attack on Titan" animated series intensifies as Wit Studio continue to release teasers for the show's upcoming episodes.
On Instagram, the people behind the anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama's widely popular manga series posted a photo taken from their headquarters showing dozens of boxes containing the upcoming season's animation cuts.
Those who have an idea about the process of making animated series know that the animation cuts are part of the early production steps of making an anime. This process involves the creation of early sketches featuring the characters and scenes that will be needed to create the animated footage.
Since there are a number of boxes containing the animation cuts for the upcoming season, it means that the production of "Attack on Titan" season 2 is well underway and the finishing touches might be ongoing at the moment. This could be a hint that the much-awaited follow-up for the anime's first season is almost ready.
This is not the first teaser released for the second season of "Attack on Titan." On Thursday, animation director Arifumi Imai shared a dual image of lead character Eren Yeager on his own Twitter account.
The post showed Eren wearing his scouting gear in front of his Titan form. While the post did not include an explanation about the image, speculations claimed that the character will get in touch with his monster persona in the upcoming season.
Eren and his constant companions Mikasa and Armin are also seen in the first official trailer for "Attack on Titan" season 2. The characters were seen fighting against the giant monsters with the use of different fighting techniques. It signifies that the humans will do everything that they can to eliminate the flesh-eating giants in the show's future episodes.
Wit Studio has yet to reveal the release date of "Attack on Titan" season 2, but the animated series is expected to come out in April 2017.
