In the run-up to the launch of the "Batman: Arkham Knight" game in June, more information on the system requirements for the PC version has been revealed.

The game's original June 2 launch date was pushed to June 23.

The minimum PC requirements for the game were announced on the Nvidia website. To play at the minimum setting a 64-bit OS will be needed. In addition, the PC will need an Intel Core i5-750 processor or an AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor and 6 GB RAM. At this setting, the game is expected to take up 45 GB space on a hard drive and will also require an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 graphics card with 2 GB memory.

In addition to the minimum PC requirements, there are two other settings – the "recommended" level and the "ULTRA" level. As expected these requirements are slightly higher and require 8 GB RAM and 55 GB space on a hard disk.

PC Gamer, commenting on the requirements for the recommended level, said many systems will not be able to handle it. It quotedf from a hardware survey conducted by Steam which showed that most systems do not have the 3GB VRAM needed.

"Batman: Arkham Knight" is the last in the series of three games from Rocksteady. Its previous instalments – "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City" – met with positive reviews.

The upcoming game was initially supposed to launch in 2014 but was pushed to this year. It has quickly become one of the most awaited games in the year.

In addition to its PC version, the game is going to be released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As for its previous two installments, there is news that they might be remastered for current generation consoles and come to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 sometime in the fall of this year.
