'Batman: Arkham Knight' Release Date, Price News: Premium Edition Cost Is $100
Among the many tidbits of news about "Batman: Arkham Knight" was the recent revelation that 6 GB RAM would be required to play the basic version of the game on PC.
Moreover, the game will reportedly be costly with gamers shelling out $100 if they want to get access to the Premium Edition of the game which includes six months of DLC content. People who want to buy the main game and purchase the season pass for the DLC content will have to pay $40.
With the revelation of the $100 price tag, some gamers noticed that the Premium Edition offered no savings at all. The main game has a $60 price tag and is due for release on June 23 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game will have Linux and Mac versions, but they will come later.
The price tag of the upcoming game has been a major topic of discussion in various gaming sites. Some people planning to buy the game said they would wait for the game to launch first and only buy the season pass if they like it. Included in the season pass will be a variety of super villains along with story missions, challenge maps, skins for the Batmobile, characters, and race tracks.
To build up anticipation for the game, Warner Bros, the publisher, recently released a trailer which hinted about a chemical warfare that will face the Caped Crusader. As for the characters in the game, the trailer also showed that Scarecrow would return and he would have a revamped injection kit fitted on his hand.
As for Batman's friends, they are going to be Lucius Fox, Catwoman and his sidekicks Robin and Nightwing.
