Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner latest news: Estranged Hollywood couple still on good terms despite split

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner aren't as close as they used to be, but despite the various tabloid rumors attacking their family, the two Hollywood actors have maintained an amicable co-parenting relationship as they prioritize their children.

In fact, a recent tabloid report by In Touch magazine claimed that the estranged spouses, who still live in the same property, have "had a fight and she told him that if he didn't do something about his drinking, she would force him out of the family house." According to the media outlet, Garner is concerned with Affleck's behavior. Hence, "she gave him an ultimatum, and she's serious about it."

This claim has been exclusively debunked by Gossip Cop. The fact-checking media outlet verified with a source close to the situation, who assures that Garner has not threatened to kick Affleck out of their residence because of his drinking.

The cordial relationship between the estranged couple cannot be denied, especially since Affleck had said nothing but praises about Garner over the months since they have decided to call their relationship quits.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Affleck talked about how he spent the holidays with his family. He shared that he was in charge of cleaning up while Garner did all the cooking. He even praised his estranged wife's skills in the kitchen.

"Jen is a really great cook. She's probably the best cook I know. We had roast chicken this year; it was really, really good. Other than that, we do pizza nights, where a guy comes and makes pizza and nobody has to cook," Affleck said.

After around a decade of marriage, Affleck and Garner announced that they had separated back in June 2015. The separated couple issued statement just one day after their 10th wedding anniversary revealing their decision to part ways.

"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the former pair said in a joint statement to E! News. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time," they went on to say.
