Beyoncé pregnancy details, latest news: Singer's new maternity photos revealed; how far along is she?
After Beyoncé broke the internet with her pregnancy announcement, new maternity photos of the "Lemonade" star have been recently released.
Beyoncé announced on Instagram last Wednesday that she is pregnant with twins with her husband Jay Z. The photo shows the pop songstress shrouded in a green veil, holding her baby bump and kneeling in a platform adorned with flowers. The image, which now has over nine million likes, came with a caption that reads: "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. — The Carters"
More images of Beyoncé's maternity photoshoot have now surfaced online, with her daughter, Blue Ivy, posing with her in some of them. Seemingly inspired by famous historical paintings, the photos showing her prominent baby bump might give fans an idea on when she'll deliver her twins. "In her photo she looks to be at least 20 weeks along," MD, OB/GYN, and author Sherry Ross told Hollywood Life. "By the time Coachella arrives, she will be around 30 weeks," the doctor went on to say. Recent reports speculate that the "Single Ladies" singer will give birth around June to August.
Since Beyoncé did not announce the expected due date for the twins, it's unclear if her pregnancy will impact her future appearances and projects. She is nominated for nine awards in the Grammys, which will be held on Feb. 12, and she's also scheduled to perform at Coachella in April.
Beyoncé's surprising social media announcement seem to rival her first pregnancy reveal during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. After performing "Love on Top," the singer-songwriter unbuttoned her tuxedo top and dropped her mic before rubbing her stomach, hinting that she was expecting her first child.
