'Blindspot' season 2 episode 15 spoilers: Dangerous mission threatens to take out significant character; John Wesley Shipp guest stars
Team Weller splits up into unlikely pairs for a mission in the next episode of "Blindspot." And in the skirmish that eventually ensues, one member's life could be lost.
After cracking a set of tattoos produces multiple leads that point to one lethal courier, Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and his crew are forced to pair up in the most unlikely ways in a mission to stop the said courier from getting to its intended recipient. Weller will be teaming up with the amnesiac former Sandstorm member, Roman (Luke Mitchell); Patterson (Ashley Johnson) will be going out on her second consecutive field mission with Reade (Rob Brown); while Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Tasha (Audrey Esparza) make up the third unconventional pair.
They may each follow a separate lead, but all of them share a single goal: to intercept a deadly underworld courier. However, while it may seem that the team has been through enough trying missions to trust each other with their lives, one unexpected betrayal ends up endangering a member's life.
The trailer for the next episode shows Tasha getting gunned down in the crossfire by possibly one of their own. Who among Weller's team is an untrustworthy liability after all? Is the hit on Tasha intentional, or could it simply be an unfortunate misfire? Is newcomer Roman behind Tasha's accident, or will it be Jane's friendly fire that takes Tasha down?
John Wesley Shipp will reportedly guest star as a holistic healer named Dr. Katz, who has been described as "a charming, warm and caring doctor who will do anything for his patients," and who could be harboring a dark, villainous secret. Shipp is most popularly known for playing the dual roles of Henry Allen and Jay Garrick on The CW's DC-inspired series, "The Flash."
"Blindspot" season 2 episode 15 airs on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
