'Bloodborne' 1.3 Patch Download Features: New Patch Brings Faster Loading and Reduces Wait Time Before Respawn
The new PS4 exclusive game "Bloodborne" has become extremely popular since its release in March. It went on to sell over a million copies within two weeks of its launch.
However, gamers complain that their player dies easily and frequently and they have to wait for anywhere up to 45 seconds to respawn.
From Software recently released the 1.3 patch for the game to address this concern and the slow loading of the game. This patch was around 2.7GB when it landed.
After the patch became available, Eurogamer tested it and subsequently announced that it reduced the load times especially in the Hunter's Dream Hub by 15 seconds. Moreover, players get access to areas faster.
As for respawn time, it has drastically been reduced in areas such as Central Yharnam where many players die frequently. Previously in this area, with each death, players had to wait for nearly 45 seconds before they were able to play again. This was a huge problem for many and they were quick to voice their frustration. With the patch, the respawn time in Central Yharnam has been reduced by 15 to 26 seconds.
Coming to another complex area, Old Yharnam, the respawn time has been reduced by 15 seconds. Along with decreased load and respawn times, the patch also brought pages describing elements such as Coldblood Dew. These pages are now displayed during loading time and have replaced the static logo which was previously used in these areas.
The patch notes also indicated that the bug-ridden elevators had been fixed.
The problem with bosses in the game performing one attack repeatedly was also addressed in the patch. This particular problem was noticed when players left their consoles in rest mode or idle for too long, causing the bosses to freeze in one particular attack mode.
