'Bones' Season 10 Spoilers: Emily Deschanel's Real-Life Pregnancy Added to Plot
It's still three months before "Bones" returns on Fox on March 26, but we already have the latest spoilers. It looks like a lot of things will be happening – including Emily Deschanel's real-life pregnancy which will be integrated into the show.
Stephen Nathan, executive producer, said they are very happy for Emily and that they wouldn't want her to leave the show even temporarily because of her pregnancy. As such, the producers will be "integrating her pregnancy into the show."
"Booth and Brennan, like most couples today, will continue to work, play and catch murderers—maybe they're unique in this respect—as their family grows," Nathan said. "As with most new situations that have arisen in 10 years, we feel that this can only enhance the show. Although I'm sure there will be a vocal group of fans eager to attack me, I hope they will be pleasantly surprised by what we have in store."
Meanwhile, Arastoo (Pejman "Pej" Vahdat) and Cam (Tamara Taylor) will be in a difficult situation right after Arastoo returns to Iran. The challenges will test their relationship. In fact, Nathan hinted that Arastoo will be "trapped as a political prisoner."
"He goes back because his brother is dying. That will come back in a very, very major way later on in the season. [Arastoo will be] trapped in Iran as a political prisoner. The only way he can leave is to solve a particularly sensitive murder, and of course he can't do it without help," Nathan said.
Michaela Conlin, who plays Angela, said her character will be undercover this season. We are also going to find out what her real name is.
Watch out for more "Bones" spoilers before it returns on screen on March 26.
