'Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare' Remastered release date news 2016: Highly anticipated game to arrive later this year?

According to reports, "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" remastered version will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms. However, in a report by Digital Spy, the game will only be playable for gamers who will buy the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Legacy Edition.

When "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" was released in 2007, it received both critical and commercial success. It was exactly how fans pictured the game would be before it hit the market. The first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision came up with an amazing cinematic storyline, which many players considered as having the best missions in the history of video gaming. Due to its success, it was only a matter of time before Infinity Ward decides to release a remastered version of the highly popular title.

Although the game developer has yet to provide specific details about its release, many fans expect the game to come out before the year ends. Players who wish to secure a copy of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" remastered version, they must also get the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Legacy Edition as the former could not be bought alone.

Although this can present problems to many players, the company expects the remastered version of the 2007 hit to receive another successful launching.

Meanwhile, GameRant reported that Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg have announced during Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles that not all the maps of the game will be available during the launch. However, all 16 maps of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" will soon be available through updates after the initial release date.

According to the publication, "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" remastered version will feature 10 maps during its launching on Nov. 4, while the rest will be included in a downloadable content, which will be available in December.
