'Chicago P.D.' season 4 episode 11 spoilers: Voight's unit goes up against the 'special police'
The next episode of "Chicago P.D." season 4 will see Voight (Jason Beghe) and company deal with so-called special police who appear to employ a violent method of laying down the law.
In "Chicago P.D." season 4, episode 11, "You Wish," the team will be investigating the death of a sex offender, but the circumstances are a bit murky.
It was suggested by Voight that it could be hate crime, sexual assault or self-mutilation, but Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) and Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) have reason to believe that these special police officers are responsible for his death.
The duo is having trouble investigating on the special police, though, as they would not cooperate with them to get to the bottom of the victim's murder.
The synopsis for "Chicago P.D." season 4, episode 11 teases that these special police officers are taking part in illegal activities and are covering it up. Even worse, they like to play judge, jury and executioner.
Despite this, it will be a serious challenge to dig the dirt on them as they maintain a good reputation in the city and they know this game well enough to be able to cover their tracks.
These special police appear to be very dangerous especially because they take matters into their own hands. In the case to be dealt with in "Chicago P.D." season 4, episode 11, they took it upon themselves to sentence death on the sex offender in question and they personally did the execution too, and in a brutal fashion, too.
As the team tries to make sense of this, Halstead also tries to prove something, which is whether or not Jimmy (Tony Crane) really is Lindsay's (Sophia Bush) father. He does so by doing a DNA test.
"Chicago P.D." season 4, episode 11, "You Wish," airs Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
