'Clash of Clans' holiday-themed update news: expected to come out from Dec. 19 to 23 with 'Clash Royale' characters joining the game
Supercell makes sure that its "Clash of Clans" players will get the most out of the holiday season as it releases a holiday-themed update just for the occasion. The studio has been teasing a lot about the update, but the scarcity of details has led the fans to anticipate it even more.
There are speculations circulating online as it is said to be a grand update with lots of new features. The last update was launched for the Halloween, in which new items have been offered and changes have been applied.
The "Clash of Clans" holiday theme is believed to be grander than ever as this is the occasion to be generous. Supercell has been releasing updates for special events and it is very certain that a Christmas update will soon be rolled out.
And while Supercell has not released a statement yet, rumors emerge suggesting that new game modes will be featured in the "Clash of Clans" holiday update. There will also be additional troops that will be taken from the "Clash Royale," which is the spinoff of the hit mobile game. Some players speculate that the additional troops will include Lumberjack and Ice Wizard.
Since the update is supposed to promote Christmas spirit, the "Clash of Clans" holiday update may bring themed characters, mostly coming from the "Clash Royale" mobile game.
Until this day, Supercell has not given any update out yet and have been keeping a tight lip about the release of the update. It just teased the fans even more by posting tweets; its latest one reads, "We'll have some sneak peeks ready for you soon! In the meantime, just letting you know that..."
Several reports claim that the update will be available several days before Christmas, but some say that the "Clash of Clans" holiday update may come out between Dec. 19 and Dec. 23.
