Supercell has also been successful with "Clash Royale" following the hit mobile game, "Clash of Clans." The studio has gained a significant number of "Clash Royale" players that its weekly tournament has always been a success.

"Clash Royale" players have been fighting their way to get the prize offered, including a free trip to the Supercell main office located in Helsinki, Finland. This is aside from a whopping $15,000 cash prize. As of the moment, eight contenders are left to battle against each other in the upcoming "Clash Royale" tournament on Dec. 17 at the Globe Theater in L.A.

The final battle will be hosted by comedians Rob Codry and Al Madrigal. Avid players who want to see what's happening in the tournament can visit the "Clash Royale" Twitch channel, or access the game's Facebook page or YouTube channel.

There are mobile gamers who apparently like the gameplay of "Clash Royale" more than the "Clash of Clans." A year after "Clash Royale" was released, it reportedly gained $1 billion in revenue. Apple also reportedly disclosed that the mobile game is the best title in the Apps store. However, both titles were not in the list of the top 10 games.

Aside from the upcoming tournament finals, Supercell is brewing new updates for "Clash Royale" and it is set to come out in January. Some of the updates include the Dart Goblin, which players recognize as a rare card that is used for the arena. The Goblin Gang cards will also be featured, described as a three elixir type that can be dispensed for ground, air, chest and many others.

Supercell gave a sneak peek of the January update, showing the Battle Ram. This is another rare card that has two barbarians carrying a gigantic log. Also, the executioner is shown. It costs five elixir, but its use is very effective in both air and ground.
