'Dance Moms' canceled rumors: season 7 shortened to 13 episodes; ALDC veteran to make surprise return
There are rumors going around that "Dance Moms" season 7 will be the Lifetime reality show's last. Cast member Ashlee Rumfallo fanned the flames on the matter while speaking to RadarOnline.
"There has not been a definite cancelation," the mom of dancer Brynn Rumfallo said. "They're waiting on a few things and deciding how and what they're going to do. No one knows," she went on to say.
It is believed that dance coach Abby Lee Miller's legal issues are getting in the way of a "Dance Moms" renewal although it looks like a cancellation is not in place just yet.
Interestingly, filming for "Dance Moms" season 7 is already complete. This season, unlike the recent ones, will only have 13 episodes.
The last time the show had this number of installments was in the first season. The rest were always 30 and above. The final two episodes were also filmed in the old Pittsburgh studio, which is now known as the Appolonia Leake Dance Company.
Spoiler Alert! The following contains details about the "Dance Moms" season 7 finale. Read at your own discretion.
According to reports, fan-favorite Abby Lee Dance Company superstar Chloe Lukasiak will appear in the finale of "Dance Moms" season 7 with her mother, Christi. They will make a surprise appearance at the Starbound competition.
It has long been rumored that Lukasiak will be back in the series although she herself debunked the reports. It turns out that there is something planned for her with regard to a return.
It just was not set at that time yet. Either way, it will be an exciting way to end "Dance Moms" season 7 and the whole series, should it really is facing cancellation.
At the moment, the season is currently three episodes in, with episode 4, "Winner Takes All," where one dancer will be removed from the ALDC, airing tomorrow, Dec. 20.
