'Dance Moms' season 7 spoilers: ALDC wins big in Dublin; JoJo still absent
The filming for "Dance Moms" season 7 continues as the Abby Lee Dance Company takes over the Dublin High School Center for Performing Arts.
Dance coach Abby Lee Miller documented her team's success in New York Dance Experience in Dublin, California via Instagram while the Candy Apples were also there.
For the competition set to be featured in "Dance Moms" season 7, ALDC performed a lyrical group dance for "Pretty Reckless," where they successfully placed first in Teen Division. Miller snapped a photo of the performance.
Contemporary solos of guest dance Camryn Bridges and Kendall Hilliker on second and first place, respectively in teen division. Bridges danced to "Queen C" while Hilliker performed "Scream."
The Candy Apples performed "The One," but failed to snag an award. Nicaya's solo performance for "The Harriet" snagged the third spot in the teen division.
Jojo Siwa was noticeably missing once again, which worries fans that she will not appear in "Dance Moms" season 7. The 13-year-old has long been rumored to leave the show.
Her absence in the competitions certainly gives more fans reasons to think that she will not be part of the new season. In the past, she has already dispelled the rumors about her leaving the series.
If this is the case, it looks like she will still be back, but may not be a big part of the initial episodes, which may be a bummer for her fans.
Easily, this situation reminds fans of the time Maddie Ziegler, who left the show, when she was missing out on the early episodes of "Dance Moms" season 6, only to say her goodbyes to the Lifetime reality show.
It remains to be seen if Siwa is taking the same route, and if she does, her exit will definitely have "Dance Moms" season 7 suffer a serious blow in viewership and ratings.
"Dance Moms" season 7 will premiere next year on Lifetime.
