Although "Daredevil" season 3 is not coming until 2018, fans cannot get enough of the Man Without Fear (Charlie Cox) and what his next quest will look like.

Nothing has been confirmed about Daredevil's third outing yet although it has already been ascertained that his adventure with the Defenders in the upcoming Netflix of the same name will have an impact.

"He can't do all this alone. And that's to say maybe some teamwork—He's actually going to relinquish [some responsibility]," Cox revealed during the Wizard Comic Con via ScreenCrush.

"So whatever lessons he learns in The Defenders will then play into I think season 3," the actor continued.

By the time "Daredevil" season 3 premieres, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) as well as the Defenders as a group should be well established in the Netflix Marvel universe.

Bringing an iconic character such as The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) proves to be a good idea, which gave birth to reports that the new season might have Luke Cage, Iron Fist or Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) popping up here and there.

As Cox teased, "Daredevil" season 3 should see Matt Murdock open to get help when he needs it. This could lead to the Defenders members showing up to lend a hand.

Interestingly, Jessica Jones and Daredevil have not appeared on each other's shows. This means that the story will have to make sense and tie up nicely before such crossover happens.

Meanwhile, there is a lot of talk as to which villain Daredevil will tackle in "Daredevil" season 3. Cox himself has suggested in the past that there is only one villain left for his character to deal with next—Bullseye.

The actor said that Daredevil's iconic comic book villain should be on the show at least before it ends. "Daredevil" season 3 sounds like a good place to have the ruthless marksman come out to play.

However, Daredevil is expected to first deal with Elektra (Elodia Yung), who is believed to have been resurrected by The Hand for the purpose of killing the red-clad hero.

Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio) is also expected to be back at some point on the show although it is unclear when.
