'Daredevil' season 3 may most likely be coming in 2018, but fans will be able to see the Man Without Fear next year when Netflix's "The Defenders" rolls out. At a panel at the Toronto Fan Expo, Charlie Cox himself (Matt Murdock/Daredevil) answered questions and even talked about the future that he wants for his character.

According to ComicBookMovie.com, Cox was joined in the panel by co-star Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), and fans eagerly asked about the future of Daredevil in the show. A fan asked if Daredevil and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) would get along well, knowing that the two characters are difficult to deal with, and Cox says that the two may have a good chance at working together. Cox said, however, that he is more interested in the relationship of Daredevil and Danny Rand, who is also known as Iron Fist (Finn Jones).

"Iron Fist" will premiere on Netflix next year, but Cox had this to say about the character: "The relationship I'm most interested in seeing fleshed out is the Matt Murdock and Danny Rand stuff. I just met Finn Jones the other day and I just think in the comics, that's a great relationship so I want to see how that works out on screen."

The two are not quite dissimilar in the fact that they are street level heroes who fight crime with martial arts. But Rand's superpower is his ability to use the "iron fist," and Matt's ability is his incredibly amped up senses sans his sense of sight.

Comic fans will know that Iron Fist has a closer relationship with Luke Cage in the comics, but there's no way of telling what the showrunners have cooked up for the future.

"Daredevil" season 3 will most likely premiere in 2018.
