'Dragon Ball Super' episode 54, 55 recap, update, spoilers: Omni King surprises Beerus and Whis; Zeno worried about Black Goku's threat?

The previous episode of "Dragon Ball Super" has something to make the God of Destruction very much surprised. To recall, the recent episodes of Akira Toriyama's anime series tried to resolve the mystery surrounding Black Goku, who suddenly emerged out of the blue in the future to threaten all life in the universe. The quest of Goku, Beerus and Whis to know who Black Goku really is brought them to Universe 10 to confront Zamasu, a kaioshin apprentice whom they suspected to be related to Black Goku.

As reported by Yibada, Beerus and Whis are aware that Black Goku and Zamasu share the same ki, but they also noted that Black Goku's ki is more sinister. Goku agreed that Zamasu's ki is good-natured as he sparred with him in the last episode. Also, they confirmed that Zamasu does not know Goku or anyone from Universe 6, where the Z fighters and Planet Earth belong. Black Goku recognizes the Saiyans, therefore, it appears that Zamasu and Black are not the same person. Little do they know that Zamasu is starting to feel negative about the mortal beings who are residing in every planet, and that is the link between the two shady characters.

Back on Earth, Vegeta is not pleased that Future Trunks is confident about Goku's abilities to defeat the new villain. The Saiyan prince wants his son to train in order to surpass his current power level. The two started to train in Vegeta's standards, with the latter being hopeful that Future Trunks will exceed his limitations. He does not want his son to rely on other people just to defeat the enemies. Future Trunks must learn how to become stronger and deal with his problems by himself.

In the last scene of Episode 54, Beerus and Whis received a mysterious call. They were shocked when they learned that the Omni King of all 12 universe, Zeno, was the one calling them. The Omni King wanted to meet Goku, but the reason behind this is still not clear. It is possible that the Omni King has already learned about the threat of Black Goku, that is why he wanted to see Goku face to face next episode.
