'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 59, 60 spoilers: Gowasu to be killed by his apprentice
Though "Dragon Ball Super" may have paused airing for awhile, fans will be interested to know that the upcoming episodes will have a lot of twists and turns. According to leaks for the upcoming episodes, Gowasu will die in the hands of Zawasu and there will be consequences for his betrayal.
Reports say that Zawasu will use the power of time travel to go back in time and poison Gowasu's tea. Some previews show Gowasu drinking tea before dropping the cup and spilling it all over the table. Goku and his friends will also realize the eventual betrayal of Zamasu when they notice that Future Zamasu is wearing a pair of Potara earrings.
Potara in "Dragon Ball" lore is a device which can fuse two people into one and only the Kaoshin are qualified to wear them. With that in mind, Goku will realize that the life of Universe 10 Gowasu is in danger. This all happens in episode 59.
By the time episode will 60 roll in, however, Goku and his team are too late and Gowasu has already died upon their arrival. Angered by this betrayal, Beerus, the God of Destruction, will destroy Zamasu.
Some fans are actually confused with that part because Zamasu used the Super Dragon Balls to make himself immortal. Therefore, Beerus shouldn't be able to destroy him. Since the leaks are just short snippets of the episodes, it's best to think that it will all make sense by the time the next episodes air.
Although upcoming episodes will have Zamasu supposedly destroyed, Future Trunks is still unsure of the consequences on the timeline. This is why he will go back to the future to see if there have been any tragic world-altering results.
The 61st episode also has the title "Zamasu's Ambition: Presenting the 'Zero Mortals Plan'" but there has been no episode description so far.
Episode 59 airs on Sept. 25 and episode 60 airs on Oct 2.
