'Dragon Ball Super' episode 70, 71 spoilers, rumors: plot focus is Omniverse tournament; Vegeta back as villain?
The Black Goku and Zamasu story arc of Akira Toriyama's "Dragon Ball Super" is not yet over, as there are still a few episodes left to say that Zamasu's reign of terror has finally ended. However, according to the latest spoilers and rumors, the upcoming episodes of "Dragon Ball Super" will feature an unlikely villain, although the character has already assumed a villain role in the previous "Dragon Ball" series.
As reported by iTech Post, the final moments of Zamasu will make the Z fighters realize a lot of things. For one, Zamasu possessing the body of Son Goku in an alternate present timeline would spill the weak points of the Saiyan warrior. Future Trunks, who has played a huge part in the battle for humanity, is expected to realize his real purpose his life as he will lead the rehabilitation of human civilization following Zamasu and Black Goku's onslaught.
Vegeta, on the other hand, might once again aim to become the strongest warrior in the universe. Although Episodes 68 and 69 are not yet released, there are now rumors regarding the upcoming Episodes 70 and 71 of "Dragon Ball Super." The shocking part is that by Episode 70, the viewers will start to see Vegeta assuming a villain role once again.
After the Zamasu storyline, Episodes 70 and 71 are expected to start the much awaited Omniverse tournament, pitting Goku against the most powerful fighters in distant universes. However, in this particular story arc, Vegeta might unleash his evil side as he aims to prove his power to everyone. Another factor that might affect his behavior towards the bad side is his jealousy over his own son, Future Trunks. To note, Future Trunks has shown immense power while fighting Zamasu, and this could have made Vegeta a little jealous, Game N Guide reported.
Still, the fans are advised to take these early rumors with a grain of salt until the official spoilers for the next few episodes are revealed.
