Gohan is about to star in a movie about himself in the next episode of "Dragon Ball Super." However, the Saiyan-Earthling hybrid will not be playing himself but will instead be acting as his own alter ego's stunt double in a rather interesting turn of events.

In the episode titled "Gohan's Disaster! Great Saiyaman's Unbelievable Movie Adaptation?!" Goku's studious son puts his books aside to lend a hand to an artistic cause. A movie about an explosive showdown between Mr. Satan and the Great Saiyaman is being filmed and Gohan will be forced to volunteer his services as a stunt double when the actor playing his masked alter ego refuses to do an especially dangerous fight sequence.

However, how much of the said movie will be grounded on the truth, and how much of its exaggerated alterations can Gohan possibly take as he forces himself to strike his superhero poses while announcing himself as the champion of justice, only to defer victory to Mr. Satan in the end?

"Dragon Ball Super" will return on Sunday, Jan. 8, at 9 a.m. Japan time on Fuji TV.

Meanwhile, the subsequent episode 74 titled "For Those He Loves! The Indomitable Great Saiyaman!!" will feature the consequences of the events of the previous episode. The actor Barry will harbor a grudge on Gohan and will thus try to sabotage him with a honeypot trap.

The escaped criminal, Watagash, will also wage his own havoc on Earth by infecting people's hearts with darkness and giving them destructive superpowers. However, when Watagash infects Barry, a potentially explosive showdown between him and Gohan can be expected, especially when Gohan's daughter, Pan, gets abducted in the middle of the skirmish.

The filler episodes for "Dragon Ball Super" will continue until the "Universe Survival Arc" kicks off on Sunday, Feb. 5. This will feature the highly anticipated tournament hosted by the Omni-King Zen-Oh.
