By the end of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 72, it was revealed that the person who hired Hit was actually Son Goku himself. The Saiyans always have strange training techniques, but this one is as crazy as it gets. Well, that's the end of their fight. So, what's going to happen in episode 73?

Titled "Gohan's Disaster! Great Saiyaman's Unbelievable Movie Adaptation?!," sources say the episode will feature Son Gohan taking a break from his scholarly pursuits to don the cape and helmet once again as the Great Saiyaman. And if Gohan's Great Saiyaman alter ego isn't silly enough, the episode will also feature everyone's favorite comic relief, Mr. Satan.

Well, Gohan is not exactly going to be fighting crime again in this episode. Instead, he will work as a stunt double in a movie about the Great Saiyaman vs. Mr. Satan. Ironic isn't it? And when the actor playing the Great Saiyaman refuses to film a dangerous action scene with Mr. Satan, Gohan decides to step forward and do the stunt with his father-in-law. Well, fans can probably imagine Mr. Satan's reaction when Gohan volunteers.

Reports note that Jaco the Galactic Patrolman will also appear in the episode. Jaco will be escorting a criminal named Watagashuu, but he gets sidetracked when he decides to stop by a ramen stand in space. While Jaco is busy, Watagashuu escapes.

Todd Blankenship (@Herms98) has reported that "Dragon Ball Super" episode 73 will not air on Jan. 1, due to a New Year special. The episode will air on Jan. 8, at 9 a.m. JST on Fuji TV.

Meanwhile, viewers will see more filler episodes in the coming weeks because the next story arc won't begin until Feb. 5, 2017. The "Universal Survival" arc will feature the Omni-Kings' multi-universe martial arts tournament, and Universe 7 will have a team made up of Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Majin Boo, Piccolo, Kuririn, No. 18, No. 17, Kame-Sen'nin and Tenshinhan.
