'Dragon Ball Super' episodes 69, 70 spoilers: Champa proposes friendly baseball match with hidden agenda; Hit to appear in episode 71?

Goku is about to learn a thing or two about team sport when he gets caught in a game of baseball between twin brothers Beerus and Champa. The Gods of Destruction of Universes 7 and 6, respectively, will be aiming to promote friendship between their sides of the multiverse in the next episode of "Dragon Ball Super."

In hopes of fostering camaraderie between their universes, Champa challenges his brother Beerus to a baseball match. However, things may not go as well as planned when it soon becomes apparent that not one of them actually knows how to play the game. In the episode synopsis cited by Twitter user Herms98, it was revealed that Champa's friendly baseball match may just be an excuse to come to Universe 7 and gorge on the delicious Earth food in his brother's domain. How will the supposed match turn out? Will they eventually learn how to play the game by Earth's rules, or will they end up creating a new set of rules for their game?

The episode titled "Champa's Challenge! This Time We Face Off in Baseball!" will also be featuring Yamcha, who seems to be rather good at pitching a baseball as shown in the episode preview. Who will win the upcoming friendly baseball match? Will they be able to finish the game without ruining the field? And will Champa be able to satisfy his craving for Earth food in the end?

Meanwhile, fans are speculating that the new arc might begin with episode 72 and that it could feature another tournament, which may be the rumored omniverse tournament that Zen-oh has previously expressed interest in hosting.

However, another source reported that the new arc will begin with episode 71 titled "Goku Dies! Assassination Order That Must Be Performed" scheduled to air on Dec. 18 and may feature Hit, the legendary assassin of Universe 6.

In the meantime, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 70 will air on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 9 a.m. Japan time on Fuji TV.
