'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' latest news: First paid DLC features Cabba, Frost; second DLC to arrive in early 2017

The first paid DLC for the popular video game "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has recently been released, and it comes packed with new features, move sets, additional characters, and more, which will surely delight its loyal fans.

According to an announcement published on the game's official website, the first paid DLC will be introducing new playable characters Cabba and Frost, two powerful beings that debuted in the Dragon Ball Super manga and TV series. The DLC is priced at $8.00 and is available for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC (via Steam).

Cabba can be played in his Super Saiyan form while Frost has a final form of his own. According to Attack of the Fanboy, additional content will also be made available for those who avail the DLC 1. Those who purchase the latest DLC will receive one new master (Hit), five new attacks, three new Parallel Quests, two new costumes, five Super Souls, and two emotes.

The free update for "Dragon Ball Xeonverse 2" is also available. It features a new skill of SSGSS Goku called Awakened Skill Kaioken times 10 and a new skill for Hit called Awakened Skill Pure Progress. It also includes six new costumes and four new attacks. A new Raid Quest featuring Evil Yamcha is also included in the update.

A new event, Frieza's Siege, is also introduced, in which players must defend Conton City against Frieza's Army, and players will have a chance to win 10 new Jersey costumes.

Although there is no official announcement yet, several reports suggest that the second DLC of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" might be released soon. It hints addition of other playable characters such as Vados, Champa, Super Saiyan Vegito, Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black, and Zamasu.

According to speculations, gamers can expect the second paid DLC of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" to arrive by January 2017.
