Duggar family news: Is Jessa hinting at having twins?

Jessa Duggar-Seewald may be expecting twins in her second pregnancy, based on the hints that she dropped in the latest episode of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On."

The fifth child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, known for their family reality show "19 Kids and Counting," is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Ben Seewald. But according to speculations, she might be carrying more than one child this time.

"Maybe we'll hear two heartbeats," Jessa said during Monday's episode of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" season 3. "You never know!"

Jessa also told her sister, Jill Duggar-Dillard, that her current pregnancy is very different from her first. "I've had way more food aversions and certain things like coffee, chicken, popcorn, random other things — we couldn't even have them in the house. I didn't have that with Spurgeon," the 24-year-old reality show star told her older sister as reported by People.

It will not be a surprise if reports about Jessa having twins will turn out to be true because Jessa's mother also gave birth to two sets of twins in the past. Michelle first gave birth to paternal twins Jana Marie and John-David in 1990, while twin boys Jedidiah Robert and Jeremiah Robert were born in 1998. This could mean that multiple pregnancies really run in their blood.

Jessa and Ben welcomed their first-born son Spurgeon Elliot on Nov. 5, 2015, just days after the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Nov. 1. The second baby (or babies) is expected to arrive in February this year.

Having a lot of kids would not be a problem for the couple, since both Jessa and Ben previously announced that they both want to have a big family. They are also open to the idea of adoption.

Jessa's current pregnancy is expected to be tackled in the current season of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" season 3 on TLC.
