'Fairy Tail' chapters 511, 512 spoilers: Sting-Larcade death match continues; can White Shadow Dragon withstand R.I.P.?
Aside from the light magic battle between Zeref's son Larcade and the Sabertooth master Sting, "Fairy Tail" chapter 511 has also dropped two intriguing details about the Dragneels that added yet another level of mystery to the ongoing arc. Are Natsu and his nephew Larcade destined to fight in future chapters?
Sting made it back to the battlefield by following a scent he believed to have been Natsu's. But instead of finding his friend, he came face to face with Larcade who curiously had the exact same scent as the fire mage. He went on to explain that every person has an individual scent that differed even between family members. Larcade replied that he and Natsu were both children of Zeref in a sense, and that perhaps this could be why they smelled the same.
The light mage never had a chance to elaborate on this as the fight ensued. What did he mean? Is he, like Natsu, one of Zeref's Etherious? Or is the connection between him and Natsu something unexpected that its revelation could only open up more cans of worms?
Larcade has also let slip his intention of killing Natsu, perhaps as part of his bid to please his father Zeref. Did Zeref spawn Larcade to match up against E.N.D., and could this be an indication of a destined battle between the two Dragneels? Or will Larcade meet his end in the hands of Sting, who has powered up to White Shadow Dragon Mode after devouring Rogue's shadow dragon magic?
Sting and Larcade's death match continues in "Fairy Tail" chapter 512 titled "Sting, the White Shadow Dragon." Fans of the Japanese manga series have noted the importance of Natsu getting back up on his feet in order to aid his friends. But he will have to first reach the end of his revealing dream journey, and there is no telling how the truths about his life can change the way he looks at things.
There are also speculations that Lucy may be the only one capable of waking Natsu up. Will she be able to do so before it's too late?
"Fairy Tail" is a long-running manga series created by Hiro Mashima and published regularly on the "Weekly Shounen Jump" magazine.
