'Fairy Tail' chapters 513, 514 spoilers: Erza's origins to be revealed in upcoming chapter

The secret of their mysterious relationship is finally out and neither Erza nor Irene is too happy about it.

In the most recent chapter of the Japanese manga series "Fairy Tail," the Spriggan 12's Scarlet Despair revealed that she was Erza's mother, and in the upcoming chapter 514 titled "The Dragon Seed," she intends to tell her daughter everything about the secret of her birth. What other revelations does Irene, the former Queen of the Dragons, have in store for Erza? How was Erza conceived and why does Irene feel indifferent toward her own daughter? What caused them to travel down separate paths and what will this encounter entail for the both of them?

The previous chapter titled "Flower Circle" also featured Larcade's defeat in the hands of Sting, which may not bode so well with the former's father, Zeref. How will the father avenge his son? Does Zeref feel more affection for his son than Irene does for her daughter? How will these newly revealed family connections affect the ongoing story arc?

According to iTech Post, there is a possibility that Irene may have been born thousands of years ago before the story of "Fairy Tail" even began, at a time when Dragons still existed and freely roamed in the world. It is also likely that the Spriggan 12's strongest female warrior may have already been alive before dragon slayers like Natsu were even born.

Tripped Media speculated that either Igneel or Acnologia may have fathered Erza, and that Irene may have been banished from Ishgar for carrying the seed of an evil dragon king. This could explain her unshakable loyalty to the Alvarez empire, and the scar on her stomach may have been caused by forcibly delivering her daughter, Erza.
