'Fallout Shelter' Holiday update news: Christmas-inspired decors, quests released
Bethesda will spread the holiday cheer through a new update for "Fallout Shelter."
The game developer recently confirmed through its official Twitter page that the "Fallout Shelter" vault will be filled with Christmas-inspired outfits, decorations and quests for a certain period.
Some of the items that will be included in the new holiday update include a Christmas tree, snowflake decorations, holiday lights and a lot more. In-game characters can also add Santa hats to their wardrobe while the update is still in effect.
Bethesda did not describe the type of quests that will be released together with the holiday update. Yet according to a report from ComicBook.com's WWG, the new quests will be a joy to play with. It may even bring several holiday-inspired goodies to keep up with the theme.
On the other hand, Yibada spotted a report from the Pressing X's YouTube account where Dan Mace talked about the contents of this year's "Fallout Shelter" Christmas update.
According to the video, the new Christmas update will be different compared to the one released last year because of the inclusion of quests in the game back in July. This time, players will be able to own several limited edition items or legendary gears just by completing the said quests.
The special items can also be earned through the lunch boxes offered during the new holiday update. This means that players now have all the reason to open up the lunch boxes that they have been saving up from the previous months. They could get a rare item from one of the five cards inside the lunch boxes.
Players are advised to take advantage of "Fallout Shelter" holiday update now, since the game developer did not offer any information about the expiry of the Christmas-themed contents and quests for this year.
