A new patch has been made available for "Heavensward," and it improves a lot in terms of cross server party finders and quests. The patch also features many new quests and enhanced the Anima Weapon quests.

"Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward" has a new 3.5 patch titled "The Far Edge of Fate," according to Eastern Daily. Similar to the previous patches, players must already have "Heavensward" installed before they can enjoy the advancements of the new patch.

"Heavensward" patch 3.5 has five new main quests wherein the gamer must acquire a discipline of war or magic at level 60 in order to begin. The first quest is titled "Tidings from Gyr Abania," while the other titles are still kept under wraps.

Aside from these, the patch also adds four Chronicles of New Era quests with nine side quests, three new Anima Weapon quests, and four beast tribe quests.

According to Game Revolution, the Anima Weapon quests have been said to be a favorite of "Final Fantasy" gamers because of its complex series of quests that enhance the players' weapons upon completion. Now that the patch added new quests, it also included a variety of customization options in terms of choosing stats of Anima Weapons.

Another admirable feature of patch 3.5 is its improved cross server party finder.

"Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward" had an issue with the Party Finder because of its closed server architecture. However, the new patch enables cross-server matching, where access to available players increases to thousands.

The new cross server enhancement only allows players to group with others whose worlds are from the same data center, but "Heavensward" has six data centers and at least eight servers that still allow players wide access with other gamers.

The new patch also enhanced the gamers' ability to socialize by adding more hairstyles and Egi glamours that allow them to express themselves more.
