The hype is building up as the public makes a countdown until the latest installment of the highly popular "Final Fantasy" game franchise arrives. It was earlier reported that "Final Fantasy XV" will be a little delayed from its original schedule of release, but the excitement among the fans has never wavered. To further excite the fans, Square Enix recently released a new gameplay trailer for "Final Fantasy XV," showing the new stuff the players should expect once the game title finally arrives. For one, the players are in for a magical experience with the new featured spells at their disposal. Likewise, "Final Fantasy XV" will mark the return of the Moogles.

As noted by Forbes, the latest gameplay footage from "Final Fantasy XV" shows the game's main protagonist, Noctis, setting out for an adventure along with his companions. Along the way, they will be meeting several adversaries that aim to stop them from achieving their goal. The players can use different spells to help them in battles, and as shown in the gameplay trailer, there will be a new Death spell that Noctis and his entire crew can cast. In this particular footage, the crew is seen casting the Death spell on the classic "Final Fantasy" enemy, Bandersnatch.

Contrary to what the spell's name implies, the new Death spell does not guarantee an instant death to anyone that it's been cast upon. Instead, it will be more of a standard life drain spell to make it easier for the players to take down their enemies.

Meanwhile, the latest "Final Fantasy XV" gameplay footage also gives a sneak peek of the Moogles, who are making a comeback after several "Final Fantasy" installments. Game Spot reported that the Moogles of "Final Fantasy XV" will be quite different than what they were previously. The iconic Moogle race will no longer be an actual NPC race, and instead, will be considered as helpful items for the players. The Moogles will serve as lucky charms or "dolls" in the players' inventory, giving the players bonuses or heal damages inflicted during a battle. Also, according to Gematsu, the Moogles can also act as a decoy wherein the enemies will attack them instead of the players. They will incur the damaging hits while the players are free to launch their attacks on the opponents.

There is more to look forward to when "Final Fantasy XV" hits the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29. For now, there no reports yet regarding a possible PC version of the game, so the fans are advised to tune it to Square Enix's future announcements.
