Ubisoft recently announced the "For Honor" season pass, along with everything that comes with it.

Priced at $40, the new season pass includes six heroes that will become available seven days before they arrive for everyone else. Aside from the Day One War Pack, it also comes with "elite" outfits designed for the DLC heroes. It is believed that the season pass will include three emblem outlines, scavenger crates, sunbeam effect for hero emotes, and a 30-day Champion status. This gives a player extra XP for crafting, the ability to share XP boosts to other players, and more loot everytime a match ends.

The content of the season pass will be available once "For Honor" officially comes out on Feb. 14. People who purchase the game's $100 Gold Edition will get the season pass for free. For those who won't be getting the season pass, new heroes can be accessed by spending in-game currency, which is awarded for finishing events and completing matches. As for future DLCs, Ubisoft confirmed that more maps, gear, modes, and free expansion packs will be launched soon. Season pass holders will receive early access to the upcoming post-launch content.

The hack-and-slash game has not been launched yet, but it has already received a number of criticisms from some players. "For Honor" has recently come under fire for having a locked 30fps framerate on consoles, so creative director Jason Vandenberghe explained why it had to be done that way.

"I would love to be in a situation where we could be in the best of all possible worlds," he told TechRadar, "but at the end of the day we needed to make sure that the game was solid, always successfully hitting its locked framerate, no drops, no nothing...and the only way we could do that was at the framerate that we're at," he added.

An open beta for "For Honor" will be held on Feb. 9 to 12 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
