'Forza Horizon 3' PC update news: incorrect January car pack update reveals list of possible vehicles by mistake
A wrong version of the January car pack for "Forza Horizon 3" ("FH3") for PC has been accidentally released by Microsoft, which unveiled a number of leaked vehicles that may soon come out on the latest installment of the open-world racing game.
Forza Community Manager Brian Ekberg acknowledged that PC players had to download the full version of "Forza Horizon 3," which required 53 GB of space since it is reportedly the unencrypted developer version of the game.
According to Ekberg, the wrong car pack released by the game developer can corrupt the saved game of the players. That is why they immediately corrected their mistake by removing the wrong version and replacing it with a new one that is needed to be reinstalled.
"The team is preparing the new version of the latest update for the PC version of FH3, which will include the Rockstar Energy Car Pack," the community manager stated on the game's official forum page. "While I don't yet have an exact ETA of when this update will be available, I'm hoping it will be as early as tomorrow. As soon as the new version is available, I'll update this thread accordingly."
The wrong version of the January car pack update could cause a lot of problems for the players' saved games, it also allowed them to access some impassable screens that featured a debug code that could reveal a number of still unannounced cars.
While the game developers prepare to correct their mistakes, NeoGAF user willbsn13 compiled a list of vehicles that could possibly come out on "Forza Horizon 3" based on the debugged code.
Some of the cars that were mentioned on the list include the 2017 Aston Marin DB11, the 2017 Bentley Continental Supersports, 1932 Ford De-Luxe Three Window Coupe, 2005 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, 2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, 2016 Jaguar XE-S, 1977 AMC Pacer X, 1972 Chrysler Charger E49 and the 1932 Ford De-Luxe Three Window Coupe, among others.
However, none of the cars are playable at the moment since they are only visible in the game by name.
