'Frozen 2' release date news 2016: Writers not rushing to 'perfect' script
Work involving voice actors on "Frozen 2" is yet to begin, but Kristen Bell, the voice behind Princess Anna, says it is something that fans should not worry about.
"They are not rushing the script. They have the luxury to not rush because everyone is going to be excited whether it comes out tomorrow or in five years," the actress told IGN.
"They're making it as perfect as they need it to be and we're on call to start recording whenever," she continued.
Bell believes that "Frozen 2" taking a while to put together is a good thing. Following a blockbuster hit that is the first "Frozen" movie comes with incredible amount of pressure to deliver.
It would appear that the writers are taking all the time they need to make sure the sequel lives up to the expectation set by its award-winning predecessor, which became the highest-grossing animated film of all time.
Back in March, Bell told Collider that the writers have found the right story to tell in "Frozen 2" and that "they're still doing tweaks." She said that "the story is great" and that it "exudes quality."
"They wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it," the actress teased.
The script for "Frozen 2" is one thing, but the soundtrack to be integrated with it is another. The unbelievable success of the song "Let It Go," sang by Idina Menzel who plays Queen Elsa has not lost its shine.
With how big the impact of the song was, "Frozen 2" will have to come out with another song to match, if not surpass the level of popularity this song has.
