'General Hospital' spoilers for week of Oct. 17: Claudette lying about Charlotte?

"General Hospital" spoilers for the week of Oct. 17 suggest that the big truth is going to come out soon. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) isn't convinced that Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) is Nathan's (Ryan Paevey) daughter so she's going to do everything she can just to prover her suspicion.

According to spoilers, Maxie will run a secret DNA test to find out if Claudette (Bree Williamson) is telling the truth or has been lying all this time to get what she wants. She has been hoping to get Nathan's attention and if she is lucky enough, she will be able to steal him away from Maxie.

But Maxie will not back down just like that. After giving Charlotte a juice box, she's ready to send the specimen to the lab and get the truth once and for all. Spoilers reveal that the test results will turn out negative and Nathan will be heartbroken.

He will be crushed first by the fact that Maxie ran a test behind his back but he will eventually realize that Maxie was only trying to protect him. The first time he laid eyes on Charlotte, he couldn't stop feeling falling in love with her. He wants her to be his daughter so bad but now that's all changed and gone.

So if Charlotte isn't Nathan's child, whose daughter is she? Fans will have to stay tuned to find out who her father really is. Meanwhile, Carly (Laura Wright) will still be grieving over the loss of Morgan (Bryan Craig).

She can't help but accuse Sonny (Maurice Bernard) of planting the bomb in the car that Morgan was in. Now their son is dead and there is nothing she can do about it.

Spoilers suggest that Sonny will be in trouble after Curtis (Donnell Turner) will confirm that he is the one responsible for the car explosion. It's expected that Carly will be all the more devastated. Their relationship could end up down the drain.
