After the airing of "Glee" Season 6 and series finale last March 20, after all tears have dried up and the mixed feelings of sadness (that the series was ending) and happiness (that it mostly ended on a positive note for most of the characters) have abated, the question going through most minds right now is, what's in store next for the "Glee" cast?

Lea Michelle, who played the role of Rachel Berry, will stay in Ryan Murphy's world, as she has been cast in his horror-comedy "Scream Queens," which will air in the Fall.

Darren Criss, who played Blaine, will go back on stage with the title role in the Broadway hit, "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," starting this Spring.

Naya Rivera, who played Santana Lopez, will be new mom soon, but she will also be seen next in "Devious Maids" as Blanca, the new maid in the neighborhood.

Matthew Morrison, who played Will Schuster, is currently playing J.M. Barrie on Broadway's "Finding Neverland." He will soon play a painter in the 17th century Europe-set drama movie "Tulip Fever" opposite Judi Dench, Dane DeHaan, Cara Delevingne, Christoph Waltz and Zach Galifianakis.

Jane Lynch, who played Sue Silvester, will be a part of the comedy "Dropping the Soap," a web series. She has been cast as well for a pilot from CBS, "Angel from Hell."

Chris Colfer, who played Kurt Hummel, will play playwright Noel Coward in a biopic. There is also a Disney Channel pilot he wrote and produced in the works, "The Little Leftover Witch."

Heather Morris, who played Brittany S. Pierce, was recently cast in the indie comedy "Folk Hero & Funny Guy," and will be seen in the high school horror film "Most Likely to Die."

Kevin McHale, who played Artie Abrams, appeared in last year's "Boychoir." He will soon be seen in the movie, "They Might Be Kennedys," co-starring with Aaron Tveit.

Dianna Agron, who played Quinn Fabray, will continue making movies. She appeared in the Sundance drama "Zipper," which will be released later this year. She also starred in the action thriller "Headlock." She will also be seen in indies "Bare" and "Tumbledown" sometime this year.

Jenna Ushkowitz, who played Tina Cohen-Chang, is doing more behind the scenes work. She executive produced the documentary "Twinsters," which just debuted at SXSW.

Chord Overstreet, who played Sam Evans, will co-star in the movie "Fourth Man Out," an indie comedy set for release this year.

Jayma Mays, who played Emma Pilsbury-Schuster, will be part of the cast for Netflix's "Wet Hot American Summer" special as Jessica.

Though not main characters, worth mentioning are two "Glee" alums who took the superhero route. Grant Gustin , who played the Dalton Warbler Sebastian, is the new "Flash" on T.V. In January 2015, news already came out that Melissa Benoist, who played Marley Rose, will essay the title role in the TV series "Supergirl."
