Google Pixel vs Apple iPhone 7 vs HTC 10 comparison: Who will win the fight for the best smartphone?
2016 is looking to be one good year for smartphones as it saw the release of the HTC 10, the iPhone 7, and Google's very own Pixel and Pixel XL. So far, a lot of people online have been comparing the devices to see which comes out on top. Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 was disqualified for having an exploding battery, but with the present competition, it looks like the fight is getting pretty close.
As of now, it looks like the HTC 10 is having the higher advantage among all three devices. HTC actually had a hand in developing Google's Pixel phones and some are even saying that the devices look absolutely similar.
The iPhone 7 is getting flak for its lack of an audio jack — a move that some consider to be Apple's way of forcing users to buy their wireless earbuds — and also the fact that the design seems to be too similar to its predecessor, the iPhone 6S.
The iPhone 7 is also said to have some battery issues which makes it the only iPhone that Trusted Reviews has not been able to recommend to users. Some are even reportedly holding out on purchasing the iPhone 7 in order to wait for Apple's release of the iPhone 8 next year.
As for the Google Pixel, a lot of users are saying that they need more time with the phone in order to truly experience how good it is, but the lack of waterproof features seems to lessen its perks. The battery life and VR support are welcome features and the camera technology has been raved constantly in reviews.
With the name recognition of Apple and Google, most of the users have been comparing the iPhone 7 and the Pixel online without much mention of the HTC 10, which Recombu says is a device that is "close to perfect."
