According to Neurogadget, the upcoming "Grand Theft Auto 6" could be set in Vice City, the setting for the 2002 title "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City." The outlet says that fans came to this conclusion after finding an Easter egg in "Grand Theft Auto 5." In the game, players allegedly found a towel printed with the words "I Love VC," which many have interpreted as "I Love Vice City."

Meanwhile, aside from reports that Rockstar Games is indeed working on a sixth installment to its popular franchise, the International Business Times suggests that the video game publisher has been focusing on "Grand Theft Auto 5" so that it can finally move on to "GTA 6." This is in contrast to rumors that Rockstar has shelved "Grand Theft Auto 6" indefinitely so that it can concentrate on "GTA 5"-related content.

As for when Rockstar could drop its next "Grand Theft Auto" title, Neurogadget suggests sometime between 2018 and 2020. According to the outlet, "Grand Theft Auto 6" could be dropped alongsid the next generation of gaming consoles, which are expected to hit store shelves during this period. If this is the estimated release date for "Grand Theft Auto 6," then Rockstar is already working on the title and has merely been very secretive about it. Earlier this year, a comment made by a Rockstar boss during an earnings call with investors revealed that the company is working on two major projects. While the titles of these projects were not disclosed, many predicted that one of them is "Red Dead Redemption 2" and the other is "Grand Theft Auto 6."
