Grand Theft Auto 6 release date news 2016: Upcoming title may come out with vintage theme
Considered as one of the most popular video game franchises in the history, "Grand Theft Auto" definitely needs another title for the fans. Despite the company's continued silence with regard to its development and release date, players and industry observers are excited for the series' another installment. According to the latest reports, "Grand Theft Auto 6" may travel back to the past.
All the games in the franchise have always had a present set up; however, there are rumors circulating that game developer Rockstar Games may change the theme of the sixth installment into a vintage era. Apparently, fans would want to see more classic cars involve in the action once the game developer decides to make the new title.
Although nothing is set in stone yet, fans believe that the company will consider going into that direction. However, until Rockstar Games confirms these reports, fans should take them with a grain of salt.
There are also speculations suggesting that Rockstar Games may consider going outside the U.S. for "GTA 6." Places like Tokyo, London and Bogota have already been rumored to be included in the next installment.
Meanwhile, many fans were disappointed when Rockstar Games and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive decided to skip the game's next installment at the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016. Prior to the event, rumors suggesting that the company was going to announce the game were rampant.
It appears that the game developer is currently focusing on another project which may further delay the development of the next title. However, there are also speculations saying that the company may have already started the production.
According to a report by Neurogadget, although Rockstar Games has not confirmed the development of "Grand Theft Auto 6" the company has also not denied it. The publication believes that the game could be in the works.
Nonetheless, until the company decides to make an official statement with regard to "Grand Theft Auto 6," all reports will stay as rumors and speculations.
