'Grey's Anatomy' Season 11 Spoilers, Alert: A Baby Arrives, Breakup Happens and Owen Feels Cristina's Absence

"Grey's Anatomy" is set to offer fans some surprises with a baby, a breakup among other things as the hit show continues every Thursday.

After the unexpected marriage of the best friends April and Jackson in the previous season one more surprise was confirmed by Sarah Drew, who plays April Kepner's character.

In an E! News interview, Drew admitted that her character and Jackson will be facing a "gigantic new chapter of their lives together."

"They really hit the ground running in their relationship with the total last-second surprise wedding and then almost immediately after, a surprise pregnancy," she added.

She also revealed that the fans could look forward the effects of the pregnancy to their relationship, which she described it to be an "emotional roller coaster."

On the other hand, the series will also involve an end to a relationship as Callie and Arizona are said to part ways in the next episode entitled "Bend or Break."

The show's creator Shonda Rhimes said that the couple's relationship has been growing apart and a report published in Wet Paint mentioned that the breakup could happen in the next episode. The synopsis also gave a hint of the breakup as it read:

"In this Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw ) centric episode, the couple takes a look into the problems that have contributed to their troubled marriage. At work, Callie immerses herself in the Veteran's project, and Arizona struggles to impress Dr. Herman (Geena Davis). Meanwhile, Richard (James Pickens Jr.) leans on Bailey (Chandra Wilson) for advice."

Meanwhile, Kevin McKidd revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that his character, Owen, will be facing the absence of his lover, Cristina.

"Every single minute of the day he's struggling, but he's putting a face on to the world," the Scottish actor shared.

Fans could catch more revelations from "Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 airing every Thursdays at 8:00pm ET on ABC.
