The next episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 will see the return of a familiar face.

Will it be Leah Murphy (Tessa Ferrer), who left after Webber (James Pickens, Jr.) told her she isn't cut out for surgery in season 10? And will she rekindle her romance with Arizona (Jessica Capshaw)? As fans recall, Murphy and Arizona had an affair while the latter was briefly separated from Callie (Sara Ramirez) in a previous season.

With Callie having just moved across the country, Arizona may be feeling particularly lonely this season. But in a recent interview with Variety, Capshaw admitted that Arizona's love life will get a much-needed kickstart sometime near the middle of the current season. "Somewhere leading up to the middle of the season, you will see her spreading her wings and flying a bit," the actress said.

When asked if the doctor's new love interest is a new character or someone "Grey's Anatomy" fans have already met, Capshaw hedged, answering, "I don't know. I'm not sure."

But there's a good chance that Murphy and Arizona could reconnect, as Variety has also confirmed that Ferrer will soon be reprising her role in the current season of "Grey's Anatomy." It remains unclear how long Ferrer will be back on the series. As is typical of Shondaland, Murphy's new storyline is being kept tightly under wraps.

But if Murphy isn't Arizona's new love interest, who else could it be?

Recently, it was announced that "Brothers & Sisters" alum Marika Dominczyk is boarding "Grey's Anatomy" in a guest role in the current season. Dominczyk will play a character called Eliza Minnick. Apart from this, no other details about her role have been released. It is also unclear how many episodes she will appear in or when she will make her "Grey's" debut.

Could Eliza be Arizona's new flame?

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
