'Grey's Anatomy' season 13 episode 17 spoilers: Nathan and Meredith to move on to the next level; Owen finally confronts Amelia

Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is making a move towards building something with Nathan (Martin Henderson). Meanwhile, Owen (Kevin McKidd) might be on his tipping point, as he finally confronts Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) about their situation.

On the next episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, titled "Till I Hear it From You," Meredith is finally taking a step forward with Nathan.

As seen from the episode 17 promo, Meredith tries to get Nathan's attention by telling him, "Are you serious or aren't you? Because I'm not joking." It appears to have worked because later on, Nathan asks Meredith out on a date, to which she happily said yes to.

But during this year's PaleyFest, Pompeo revealed that she doesn't have any expectations for Meredith in terms of a romantic partner or in any other aspect, which is also something that she applies in her real life, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.

Meanwhile, as one relationship forms, another one might break. Owen will finally confront Amelia about their issues and whether there's still a future for them.

"Diane Pierce (LaTanya Richardson Jackson) returns to Grey Sloan, but Maggie (Kelly McCreary) is still in the dark as to why she's really there. Owen and Amelia hash out their problems as they work a trauma case together, and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) tries to mend her relationship with Richard (James Pickens Jr.)," the episode's listing on The Futon Critic reads.

"He's a very tortured guy and he thinks the thing that is going to fix him is a beautiful family with this woman," McKidd explained at the PaleyFest panel. The actor added that Owen is really struggling and that he's just waiting for Amelia to come around.

There's a high possibility that Amelia will turn out to be just like Cristina (Sandra Oh) and split with Owen, but hopefully, she comes through for better or for worse.
