'GTA 5' latest news: single-player mode to come soon? 'GTA 5 Online' update gives double GTA$, RP
Fans noticed that "Grand Theft Auto V" (commonly known as "GTA 5") single-player expansions are not receiving any updates for quite some time. This sparked hope that Rockstar Games is prepping up an update for such mode and it will come soon.
While the single player downloadable contents (DLCs) of "GTA 5" have not been receiving updates, the multiplayer modes have been applied with add-on and improvements. This has been the case for quite some time and fans are currently hoping that a single-player support may be on the horizon.
Several reports claim that Rockstar Games, indeed, has been prepping up a single-player DLC for "GTA 5" as Take-Two reportedly is planning to develop a single-player support by 2017. Furthermore, a tipster shared on GTA Forums that the management is currently considering the DLC.
Tipster Yan2295 shared some information about the "GTA 5" single- player DLC pack and wrote, "I was told it is 60–70% complete — mo cap, tech animations and voice over are done. Basically the biggest part of the job is done, completing it would not be that hard."
It could be noticed that Rockstar Games have been concentrating on "GTA 5 Online" as it is one of the most popular titles of the franchise. This caused the players to assume that the company is not launching any single-player DLC anymore.
Furthermore, "GTA 5" was previously reported to have already started the development of its single player mode, but has to be stopped for a moment. The company did not give any reason for their actions, but most fans believe that "GTA 5 Online" is the reason for it.
Meanwhile, "GTA 5 Online" has just been given an update for its multiplayer mode. The "GTA Online" Adversary Mode," titled "Kill Quota," can accommodate up to 16 players across two to four teams. Also, Rockstar Games is offering generous double GTA$ and RP for the title until Nov. 28.
