'GTA 5 Online' DLC news, update: new Adversary mode, bike added; next vehicles to arrive leaked
In its continued effort to expand the multiplayer campaign of "Grand Theft Auto V" (commonly referred to as "GTA 5"), developer Rockstar Games released a brand-new Adversary mode and a wicked new ride for gamers to tinker with.
The mode is called Vehicle Vendetta, which will allow the troublemaking folks of Los Santos and Blaine County to "exercise your pent up road rage" without having to worry about police interference.
The new Adversary mode "pits you and your teammates against an opposing crew of motorized maniacs, all competing for power-ups that can singlehandedly turn the tide of battle," Rockstar describes the new "GTA 5 Online" mode.
The power-ups include the Beast, which transforms players into a Rhino tank, Detonator to remove obstacles, Bomb to stop trailing enemies, Jammed to force on the accelerator on the enemy's vehicle, Ghost to become translucent, and more detailed on Rockstar's website.
The update also brought to "GTA 5 Online" the Pegassi FCR 1000 Custom bike, which was described as "uber-customizable" by Rockstar.
This fully featured beauty of a bike treads the fine line between old-school, no-frills engineering and a tight-trousered hipster's delight. An instant classic, this bike will be the envy of your grandpa, even if he did disown you," the developer said.
The arrival of the Pegassi FCR 1000 does not come as a surprise to many since dataminers dug up references to it peppered in files and in "GTA 5 Online" itself.
Well-known "GTA" tipster Tezfunz2 believes that the next to expect to drop to the game is the Itali GTB to be followed by Dewbauchee Specter. When exactly they will come remains to be seen, though.
With the Pegassi FCR having just been released, it looks like fans will wait for a while before they get the next two vehicles. Either way, "GTA 5 Online" players can expect them to arrive.
