'Half Life 3' release date news update: Third game title to come out in 2018; VR version release in 2019?

Ever since the second installment of the franchise was released almost 10 years ago, fans could not stop talking about another sequel of the video game series. According to the latest reports, game developer Valve Corporation is said to be preparing for the 20th anniversary of the popular game in 2018. Many fans are expecting the third installment to come out during that time.

For more than a decade, players have been waiting for the follow-up game to arrive. Many of them believe that there is no other perfect time to roll out the third game of the series but on its 20th anniversary. There are reports saying that the VR version will come out in 2019, which will be a year after the rumored release of the game on consoles and Windows PC. Fans will surely get the opportunity to enjoy the game using motion-tracked props.
