'Halo 6' release date rumors: Game will most likely arrive on Windows 10 PC?
Following the confirmation from Microsoft that the current "Halo 5: Guardians" will not be ported to PC platform, many fans have now shifted their focus to the next game title of the first-person shooter video game series.
It was heavily rumored that game developer 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft Studios will release a PC version of the fifth installment of the game "Halo." However, to the disappointment of many fans, Microsoft stated that "Halo 5: Guardians" will remain exclusive to Xbox One.
Nonetheless, PC players should not lose hope as new rumors have emerged suggesting that the upcoming "Halo 6" will most likely have a Windows 10 PC version.
According to a report by PC Gamer, Xbox head Phil Spencer said during his recent interview that Microsoft would not want to go back to the past. The company is all about moving forward and the future.
"Honestly the answer with Halo 5 is, I can go take last year's game, rework it to go on PC, or I can have 343 look forward to what they're going to go do," Spencer explained.
He also added that more games in full versions will be making their way to Windows PC platform.
"You could say I'm cheating a little bit by doing a half thing with putting Forge on PC, because we kind of have the tools working on PC to see what happens, but this is what we did with Forza, with Apex. I said, 'This isn't a full Forza game. Going forward, we're going to bring our Forza games to PC complete.
Spencer revealed that these games will arrive in their complete forms for PC players. Microsoft also plans to bring more games to PC platform in the future.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has yet to provide solid details regarding the release date of "Halo 6." Many fans are expecting the company to provide significant information anytime soon.
