'Hawaii Five-0" season 7 spoilers, updates: 150th episode title revealed

The seventh season of CBS's "Hawaii Five-0" will be hitting a huge landmark for the show as it reaches its 150th episode. The writers are planning a very special episode for the viewers, and the episode is called "Ka makuahine a me ke keikikane" which translates to "Mother and Son."

According to Enstarz, several alumni from the show have hopped on planes to shoot for the episode in Hawaii. Showrunner Peter Lenkov has also been posting generously on Instagram about the return of some cast members, and he even posted the official shooting schedule for the episode.

When asked about the episode, Lenkov said, "It's really a mythology episode... It will tie up some loose ends and spark a new storyline in the episode that follows."

Season 7 will still have Sara's future unsure. Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) had always been reluctant about taking in Gabrielle's daughter, but some sneak peeks for the upcoming season show that the two have definitely gotten closer.

The episode will also see the return of Christine Lahti as Doris McGarrett. Additionally, Wo Fat's father will also be returning. The two will be essential in giving Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) the chance to answer some questions that he (and the fans) have been asking since season 1.

Other cast members that are set to return are Michael Borth (Catherine) and Sarah Carter (Lynn). The two already arrived on set last weekend, and the actresses have taken to Twitter to express their sentiment about returning to the show.

According to reports, this season may also have Steve possibly get back together with Catherine, and they may even get married. Fans speculate that their love story will "re-ignite" once the two see each other again.

"Hawaii Five-0" returns on Sept. 23 on CBS.
