'Hello Neighbor' Alpha 2 trailer, release date, details: new trailers showcase gameplay and demo sneak peek
Game publisher tinyBuild Games and developer Dynamic Pixels just released two new trailers for its upcoming stealth horror game, "Hello Neighbor," which is already slated for a summer 2017 release date.
The first video shows the introduction part of the game, and is known as the Alpha 2 story trailer, a short tutorial for anticipating fans of the game. In a blog post, tinyBuild explained that "It contains some of the opening sequences from what will become the final game coming summer," and players should "Think of it as a demo for the final game. It contains the final artwork, part of the intro, and part of the tutorial. It's not the final house, that one will be much bigger."
Players can get the Alpha 2 if they bought the Early Alpha access for the game. Players can still purchase it through tinyBuild's website, and gain access to upcoming Alpha content.
In addition, tinyBuild informs players that "Due to the amount of content, new physics, and more advanced AI we expect the Alpha 2 to break in horrible & funny ways. So as always, play at your own risk."
The second video is known as the Fireworks gameplay, which showed the main character sneaking into the neighbor's house — only to get caught in the end.
The game is known as an intense action-horror game, and it involves the player constantly sneaking into a neighbor's house to know what that neighbor is hiding in his basement. Breaking into the house is not as easy, as the neighbor can learn the player's every action and adapt to the gameplay to avoid players from succeeding.
"Hello Neighbor" does not have an exact release date yet, but it is slated for a summer release in 2017, but it is only available for PC use. The game is priced at $29.99.
