'House of Cards' Season 3 Release Date: Kevin Spacey Spotted Shooting for Next Season
Kevin Spacey has been seen at a shoot for the third season of "House of Cards" in a cemetery at Harve De Grace, Maryland.
Frank Underwood, Spacey's character, was shooting a cemetery scene last week. According to the Baltimore Sun, Spacey came on the venue early that morning, as the production gears up for what appears will be a dramatic Season 3 of the hit Netflix show.
It was reported that the show's producers were forced to only donated money to the cemetery since they do not really accept official payments for situations such as filming.
The other major location where the production team has been shooting recently were for scenes in Washington D.C.
The Washington Post also posted an image of the crew shooting at the DAR Constitution Hall. A couple of pictures were captured by passersby and were posted on Instagram which looked "pretty legit," according to Washington Post.
Instagram user @timlawson21 posted his photo of the crew with caption, "Shooting of House of Cards. I tried to sit and watch, I was quickly dismissed J #HouseOfCards"
It was also speculated that there is a musical endeavor in the upcoming season since Spacey is known to have a penchant for music. In this argument, Russian punk band Pussy Riot was seen on the Baltimore set in August. This could also support the claims on the musical aspect of the show.
Meanwhile, other shots were also taken in D.C. According to Politico, the series has shot a motorcade scene in the area.
On Aug. 9, Spacey tweeted, "Congress is on vacation & so am I. Sorry but today is a day off. No actors will be filming today in DC. All 2nd unit stuff. #HouseOfCards."
There is no official announcement on the Netflix release date yet but fans are speculating a February 2015 premiere date as the most likely.
