'Hunter x Hunter' chapter 361 release date: Manga gets new writer as season 1 home release hits shelves?
The "Hunter x Hunter" manga has been hampered by an indefinite delay as creator Yoshihiro Togashi is unable to work due to his back issues.
As the wait continues, fans can get by what is expected to be a long wait by picking up the home media release of season 1 of the "Hunter x Hunter" anime, which will be available tomorrow, Oct. 25.
Viz Media has announced that the home media will feature the first quarter (13 uncut episodes) of the first season of the anime either in the form of Standard Edition Blu-Ray or DVD.
The "Hunter x Hunter" home media release also packs anime extras that have not been shown before. English and Japanese subtitles are both available.
The Standard Edition Blu-Ray is priced $49.99 while the Standard Edition DVD is the more economical option with a price of $29.99.

With regards to the "Hunter x Hunter" manga, there remains no news about the release of chapter 361, which fans have been waiting for ever since chapter 360 was released back in July.
There have been various reports about the manga's status. It was rumored that Togashi will not be able to return for a little while. His health condition has already caused a hiatus like this twice.
Viz Media was reportedly looking for someone to replace him so that "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361 will finally see the light of day and that Togashi will supervise.
There are reports that the company has already found the replacement in the person of "Sailor Moon" writer and Togashi's wife Naoko Takeuchi.
There is no confirmation of that yet, but having her continue "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361 and beyond will not be so bad as compared to a completely different writer taking the helm as it will be easy for Togashi to work and supervise her.
